Monza, June 24 2007: Matech Racing’s Ford GTs performed well, but, thanks to bad luck, failed to score. Car #43 ran out of fuel when running 5th overall, with the race’s end in sight, whilst #44 retired after an off-course excursion left gravel in the engine bay, affecting the throttle. GT40 at Goodwood: Now it’s the turn of Rod Leach to get some miles on his Mark II Continuation, road-registered at last. We will be hearing more of KFG 986 before too long.
