This is one of the very rare big-block MkVs - only five were built, each powered by an awesome 493cid, 8.1-litre, engine producing about 600bhp. Needless to say, this results in a performance level which most people would accept is rather more than adequate for everyday use... Astonishingly, this beautiful MkV has covered only 58 miles from new! It has been kept in a climate-controlled garage, and regularly started up and driven up and down the garage to ensure that everything is kept in full working order. The owner is a long-time collector who knows how to care for a car. Built in 1991, it is titled as a 1966, so reducing the likelihood of problems when licensing it for road use. As you would expect from such a low mileage car (basically UK test mileage when driven by Safir Engineering’s Peter Thorp, who personally road-tested each MkV on completion) the car is in pristine, as-new, condition throughout.
