This coming weekend, 25 - 27 September 2009, vintage racing enthusiasts will be meeting up at the Francorchamps circuit to attend one of the top events in this field, the F1 Historic & Spa 6 Hours. And, as customary, the Roadbook team have concocted another well-filled spectacle to be enjoyed by the whole family!
The top event will undoubtedly be the Spa Six Hours, where we will see a certain Rowan Atkinson, better known as Mr Bean, taking full advantage of his great passion for classic cars and trying to clinch victory in this 360 minutes-long intense race. The Brit will, however, be up against tough opposition, as René Herzog and Hans Hugenholtz, at the wheel of a fearsome Ford Mustang, have called on a certain Vincent Vosse to try to reclaim the Spa Six Hours trophy! As for the Ford GT40 which Willy Mairesse
drove at Le Mans and Spa, she will be back on the track, with correct chassis number to back it up, with notably Hervé Regout and Pierre-Alain Thibaut at the wheel …
More than ever the F1 Historic & Spa Six Hours has now become a ‘not to be missed’ rendezvous at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. The entrance ticket valid for the 3 days is on offer at a cost of 20 euros … but an 8 euros discount voucher can be downloaded from the www.roadbook.be site, or on the FBVA portal… or cut one out from one of the 50.000 table mat sets distributed in the various restaurants. See you in Spa!
